The Urban Warriors suffered their sixth defeat in 11 matches, when they went down to Matsatsantsa at Mbombela Stadium on Wednesday night.
Menzo believes his side could have done better in this match.
“Clearly, I was not happy with the first half. I think the players were also not happy. The second half was good. I think we did what we needed to do. A little bit unlucky,” Menzo told SuperSport TV after the match.

“When you’re in this position then things don’t fall your way, they fall the other way. If I look at the goal we conceded, I think it was their only chance. But before the goal, something strange happened, which is still strange, but it’s OK.”
Menzo also explained his decision to substitute striker Masilakhe Phohlongo before the half-time break.
“Scara [Phohlongo] is still young, and I don’t blame him for anything. It’s a lesson for him, it’s nothing serious. But if you see that something is wrong, you have to change it. In someone like Selwyn George, we have someone who can score goals. Sometimes you have to make choices. Sometimes they’re good, sometimes they’re not.”
