The supports sang an inspirational song to encourage the team after losing 1-0 to Wits on Thursday night at the Bidvest Stadium.
“Kuyoze kulunge, kancane ka ncane sizo phumelela,” translated, “One step at a time, we will win eventually.”
The Buccaneers endured a tough season losing by six goals twice first to SuperSport United (6-1) and against to Mamelodi Sundowns (6-0) in the second half of the season.
Pirates have looked a better side under the mentorship of coach Kjell Jonevret who joined the team in January following Muhsin Ertugral’s resignation.
