In the video, Motaung can be heard saying Chiefs’ shock loss to National First Division side TS Galaxy is not a curse for Amakhosi, but a journey for Galaxy-owner Tim Sukazi.
“That’s why I’m celebrating him (Sukazi), it’s his (Sukazi) journey. For buying that team and to be where it is. And for winning this (the Nedbank Cup), it’s historical what he has done,” said Motaung in the video.

“This has never happened in the world of soccer (a lower tier team winning the Nedbank Cup). Second division winning and qualifying for Africa. And for thina (us), it’s not a curse. It was his journey, his doing. Let’s embrace him,” added Motaung.
