Coetzee has apologised for missing the Urban Warriors pre-season training as he hoped to find a new team.
In a short video posted by the club, the defender confirmed he met with the club’s officials and will be training with the MDC squad for the time being.
“I requested a meeting with the Ajax CT bosses to discuss my future with the club‚” he said.
“Firstly‚ I would like to apologise to the club‚ coaches and my teammates for the way I behaved over the past three weeks.”
The Bafana Bafana defender agreed to return to the team after a meeting with club CEO Ari Efstathiou.
“Rivaldo offered a heartfelt apology to the club, staff, coaches, his teammates and to our fans, one which we have accepted,” said Efstathiou.
“We are happy that he has taken responsibility for his actions in a mature manner and accepted any decision made by the DC regarding his absence from training since the start of pre-season (3 July 2017).”
