The incident happened at the Argentinian cup game between Central Norte and Talleres.
Football players were walking off the field after the game when a supporter who was standing outside the change room entrance took a swing at one of the footballers before running.
The punch-throwing fan was chased by the players across the field before he was caught and kicked by one of the players.
The kicker sustained an injury that kept him down and other fans kicked him in the chest and back.
More fans tried to invade the pitch but were stopped by the police, who also helped the injured player to his feet.
