The Bafana Bafana midfielder’s goal against Racing Genk secured a spot for Oostende for next season’s Uefa Europa League.
The former Orlando Pirates man has struggled to make regular appearances for his club this season due to injury which has seen him spend more time on the bench.
The lack of game time was also sparked by him making it clear that he would like to leave the club in the off season.
When the deal fell through Jali had lost his place in the starting eleven after a sensational start to his career at the Belgian club.
Rumours are doing the round about Jali’s possible return to the Absa Premiership, however, after his performance in the last few matches and shedding weight Oostende could decide to keep him.
