Want-away Billiat promises to give best for Sundowns

Khama Billiat, who is set to leave Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the season, has promised to give 100 percent to the club.

Billiat’s contract with Sundowns is set to expire at the end of June and he has so far refused to renew it.

“Right now I just want to honour my contract, be professional about it, respect my teammates and coaches,” said Billiat, as quoted by TSN Express.

“I’m going to do what I have to do. Work hard whenever I get an opportunity, play well and respect the supporters who come in numbers every game. I have to respect that and give everthing I have every time I get a chance.”

The Zimbabwean forward has been linked with a move to Egyptian giants Zamalek.

He is also said to be headed for Europe.

“I don’t know anything yet,” when he was asked about his next move.

Billiat is expected to lead the Sundowns attack when they take on Free State Stars at Loftus Versfeld Stadium tonight.
