The two teams face-off in the return leg of the round of 16 in the Caf Confederation Cup 2017, with Da Costa’s team having a 1-0 advantage from the first leg.
“We have worked hard and should score more goals this time. We shall respect our opponents because they will be playing at home. But we shall follow our game plan that should see us win,” said Da Costa.
The good news for the Ugandans is that defender Aggrey Madoi who missed the first leg because of injury is part of the travelling team together with Brian Kakaire who could make his debut.
Milton Karisa, who scored the lone goal in the first leg, told CAFOnline.com before the team left for South Africa on Friday morning that he is eager to score more goals that will propel the team to the next level.
“It is always good to play at a continental level and we can only keep playing there by getting the results,” he added.
Despite having a slim advantage over their South African hosts, Vipers know that it will be a tall order playing away against a side that is struggling on the domestic front and their only hope of a silverware remains in the continental club championship.
