Mamelodi Sundowns announced Tuesday that Sibusiso Vilakazi is expected to miss the next six months.
The forward was withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana squad after rupturing his left Achilles tendon during a friendly match against SuperSport United.
He was replaced by Cape Town City winder Gift Links.

Sundowns tweeted: “Sibusiso Vilakazi has been ruled out for a period of up to six months with a ruptured tendon. This means Vilakazi is unlikely to feature in the remainder of the 2018/19 season that will conclude in May next year.”
Vilakazi has been one of coach Pitso Mosimane’s key men this season, scoring two goals and making one assist in seven appearances in all competitions for Sundowns.
