Usuthu buoyed by Ke Yona performance

Usuthu gave a gallant performance against Dikwena although coach Joey Antipas had opted to give his fringe players a run.

The Durban based team took the lead through Ghanaian , Samuel Darpoh in the first half but Dikwena responded with two quick goals in the second half. Boysen Mbatha equalised for Usuthu but Henrico Botes saved Calvin Johnson’s side some blushes when he fired them to victory three minutes to the end.

Usuthu’s Vukile Mgqibisa was impressed, and said the performance will inspire them going into the last games in the NFD race.

“It was a very good game because we fought until the 90th minute and it showed that we have depth in our team because everyone tried their best,” said Mgqibisa.

“We are all motivated about the league because we know what is at stake and the coach told us about the importance of the remaining games, but we have to take it them game by game,” he added.
