Pirates have been on a good form, going on an 11-game undefeated run.
“Pirates are a team in form. I think they have seven wins in a row, unbeaten in their last 11 games. So, it is a tough task going to Orlando Stadium wanting a result. A result of course that will help us in terms of securing our spot in the Top 8. We have to be very careful and at the same time well organised, and plan accordingly to get a result against Pirates,” said the Sekhukhune coach.
The teams are set to meet in the Nedbank Cup final next week at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. But, Truter says he is not thinking about the final yet.
“We are not thinking about the final yet, it is a league game. We want to do well and bearing in mind that we won the first round at home. We are sure that they will want to overturn the result at their home as well.”
Truter has emphasised the need to get his charges ready for the clash against Pirates.
“For us, it is going to be important to prepare very well. But first we have to manage the fatigue, injuries and suspensions we have to order to put the best team on the park,” added Truter.

“But there is a good atmosphere in the team, everybody is in a good space. That’s what it is working for us, the same could be said about them. It will be an interesting game, we will put our best foot forward and the best players available on the park for the game on the weekend.”
Sekhukhune are in seventh spot on the log with the club having registered 36 points in 28 games.
