Brazilian Alexandre Revoredo, who joined Chiefs as goalkeeper coach in June 2016, passed away after a short illness on Wednesday morning at the Life Bedford Gardens Hospital in Bedfordview.

“When I first saw and knew u I told the gents this man is crazy little did I know that u just a happy person. I’ve never seen u mad even when we lost a match you would cheer us up whatever illness took you must have been a monster cause u the strongest man I’ve ever came across.
“I still can’t believe you gone I know u smiling down and saying everything is ok I wish I could do the hand shake one more time ma nigga I know ur in a better place now my condolences to ur family will miss you soldier when I heard u sick I told the gents his too strong to go down to anything THANK YOU ALEX ❤️💔😢✌🏿 (sic),” wrote Amakhosi and Bafana defender Ramahlwe Mphahlele, on his Instagram account.
Former Orlando Pirates striker Tendai Ndoro said: “With deepest sympathy for the loss of our Great Coach… May Your Soul Rest In Peace Coach (sic).”
“Descanse Em Paz 🙏🏽 The happiest soul I’ve ever come across, We will miss you Bheleza,” wrote Chiefs midfielder Keagan Buchanan on his Instagram account.
