Van Heerden was the conditioning coach at Bidvest Wits.
“I am not making any changes,” said Tinkler.
“The only change made is bringing Zac to be our conditioning coach. He is somebody I worked with in the past during my time at Wits. It’s somebody who understands how I want us to train in terms of the conditioning of the players.
Tinkler has kept Kaitano Tembo as his assistant coach whom he praised.
“He has a great future ahead of him. He has a good head on his shoulders. He understands the game well. He has done extremely well with the team against TP Mazembe and Horoya. I see a bright future for him.”
