Kaizer Chiefs Football manager Bobby Motaung says the club's new technical advisor Robertus Hutting was not appointed to replace Steve Komphela in the future.

Hutting was unveiled as a new face in Chiefs’ technical team on Tuesday.
Komphela has been with Amakhosi for over two seasons and hasn’t won a trophy for the club. Many are wondering if he was there to step in as head coach when Komphela is axed.

Motaung, however, says that is not the case.
“He (Rob Hutting) is not going to be taking over from Mr Komphela at any time,” said Motaung at a press conference.
“Rob is here to advise the technical teams of both the first team and development.”
