The 46-year-old detailed how Lekgetho would wake him up in the early hours of the morning to go and find food.
“Each time we were in camp I would share with George (Lekgetho). Man, George could eat!” Lerefolo told Phakaaathi.
“In the morning around 4 or 5 am while we are all sleeping after a game he would ask me to wake up so we could go and speak to the chef or someone who works in the kitchen to make him something to eat.
“He would wake me up sometimes at 5 am and he would tell me to go shower because he has already prepared breakfast for us or tea. I don’t know why he did this or when he would have prepared the meal. He would make sure he eat before everyone gets up, and then when the team is having breakfast, he would join us,” concluded Lerefolo.
