One of these pranks ended with one of his teammates being left naked in the parking lot after a game while everyone went home!
“There was one striker from Senegal who was signed and we used to have fun with him and we joked a lot,” Hendricks told Phakaaathi.
“One day after the game he was taking a shower and I was putting my clothes on and I thought ‘let me take his clothes and put my jacket over them. He is still in the shower and he doesn’t know’. So I covered the clothes with my jacket and waited for him.
“When he came out of the shower, he wanted his clothes and he started searching everywhere for them and I didn’t say anything. We all left and went home and he was in the change room looking for his clothes and because he had nothing to wear.
“After about an hour I called him and said ‘I have your clothes’ and he was angry with us but we organised someone to take other clothes to him while he was waiting naked in the parking lot. I only brought his clothes back the next day and we all laughed. Luckily he was not upset.”
