Tau the big winner at PSL Awards

Mamelodi Sundowns star Percy Tau was the big winner at the Premier Soccer League awards ceremony at the Sandton Convention Centre on Tuesday evening.


Tau, who finished as joint Absa Premiership top goalscorer with Rodney Ramagalela of Polokwane City, was named Footballer of the Season and Player’s Player of the Season.

Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane won the Absa Premiership Coach of the Season.

Itumeleng Khune picked up the Goalkeeper of the Season award, while Maritzburg United’s Siyanda Xulu and Siphesihle Ndlovu were named Defender and Midfielder of the Season respectively.

Ndlovu also scooped the Young Player of the Season award.
