After managing to get back to earn a point against Orlando Pirates, Swallows FC defender Wandisile Letlabika says they will be looking to build on their display against Bucs when they take on Cape Town City in a DStv Premiership tie at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday.

The Birds fought their way back into the game after conceding an early goal against the Buccaneers, but they responded with an equaliser a couple of minutes later.
But, with the Pirates putting a lot of pressure until the final whistle, Letlabika and company at the back had to make sure they block Pirates from getting the winning goal, with the defender ending up being picked as a man-of-the-match for his great defensive work,” said the Swallows skipper.
“The game was very tough, it was a very tough game against Pirates. And for us, we needed three points, but we have to take what we got. They didn’t make it easy for us, but overall I think it was a good game for both teams. They also needed three points, but we will take the point towards the game on Saturday against Cape Town City, we just need to build on it.
“So, I think for us as a team we did well, not as an individual but as a collective, as a team. So, we will take the point, build on top of it.”
Following the draw against Pirates, the Birds went to two games without registering a victory, having lost to Marumo Gallants prior to the Bucs clash.
But, they will be going up against a Cape City side that has won two of their last three home games, having beaten Chippa United and Maritzburg United, while holding log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns to a goalless draw.
But, victory will be crucial for Swallows, as they look to get away as far as possible from the relegation zone. The birds are in position 13 with 13 points from 16 matches, only three points ahead of last placed Baroka FC in the standings.
