Amakhosi and the Buccaneers played to a dull 0-0 draw at a packed FNB Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
“The supporters are the ones that came out there to support the team, and there is no excuse for us not to deliver eye-catching football,” Tshabalala told his website.
“I do hope that they know that we give our all and it is not easy to just get things going your way. It was a tough match like many other games we play, it is just unfortunate that we did not score or win. Besides that we keep our heads up and continue working.
“We played well and obviously the aim was to go out and win but it was not so at the end of the day,” added Tshabalala who played in his 30th Soweto derby on Saturday.
Chiefs will now change focus to Saturday’s Telkom Knockout match against AmaZulu at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
