United are hoping that an impressive run in the Caf Confederation Cup will end with them on the podium as champions on Saturday when they face defending champions – the mighty TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo – at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.
Matsatsantsa were defeated 2-1 in the first-leg in Lubumbashi this past Sunday. However, 19-year-old sensation Mbule, who is otherwise known as ‘Nyaope’, scored United’s away goal – one which September is hoping will turn out to be as precious as gold.

“The goal is very crucial because an away goal counts twice and we have a lot of hope in that and we are hoping that we don’t concede and try to get a goal, or two, or three,” he told Phakaaathi.
“We know that it was going to be an enormous task for us if we didn’t score the away goal but with ‘Nyaope’s’ goal… that is what we call him, is what is giving us hope and the belief that we can do the job here at home if we managed to score away,” he added.

September, who was a pillar of strength in Gavin Hunt’s triple-threat league winning side between 2007 and 2010, is happy to see the new generation taking the club to greater heights.
“We are happy with the progress, it means we are going towards the right direction as a club and that was the plan to be a force in Africa,” he said.
“The direction that we have now is doing that and we are putting the country on the map and the club as well. We are really happy to be associated with the brand.”
