Sundowns sign Algerian defender
Mamelodi Sundowns have signed Algerian defender Fares Hachi.
Mamelodi Sundowns new signing, defender Fares Hachi.
Hachi signed a four-year contract with the Brazilians after training with the Pretoria-based club in January.
The 26-year-old joined Sundowns as a free agent after his contract with ES Sétif expired. The defender impressed Pitso Mosimane and his technical team when the defender turned up for the Algerian club against Sundowns in a Caf Champions league bout.
“We like him. We like the player, and what is important is that he also wants to play here [in South Africa] and wants to play Caf football,” Mosimane told the club’s website.
