Sundowns should have sold Billiat – Mngqithi
Mamelodi Sundowns assistant coach Manqoba Mngqithi says the club made a mistake by keeping Khama Billiat this season.

Sundowns have received offers for Billiat and turned them down, but Mngqithi believes this was a mistake made by Sundowns.

“If a player has helped the club win trophies then you should allow them to go,” Mngqithi told the media at Mzimkhulu Sports Against Crime Soccer Tournament.

“The best thing about letting players go at that time is that you get to start over with a fresh team that wants to win things. Keeping the same team hoping to reach the same goals doesn’t always work out.”
