The former Bloemfontein Celtic left-back made his debut for the Brazilians in the 4-1 annihilation of the Buccaneers last week. But, the 24-year old didn’t get a chance to play during Downs 1-0 loss to AmaZulu FC in their last game.

“I was very happy to get my debut against Orlando Pirates, a small boy in me who dreamt of this time, a debut like that was happy, I am really to have made my debut and I’m hoping to get more game time,” said Ngobeni.

“For us as a team we really want to do well this season. We are using the PSL to prepare for the Caf Champions League.”
