Mamelodi Sundowns defender Rivaldo Coetzee could be the latest Downs player to undergo a positional switch as head coach Pitso Mosimane has a tendency to play his players out of position.
Natural winger Thapelo Morena is the most recent example as he was moved from the right-back position to playing up front as a striker.
After revealing that the former Ajax Cape Town defender is being trained to play at the heart of midfield, Mosimane has hinted that the 22-year-old Coetzee is being groomed to become the successor to veteran captain Hlompho Kekana.
