Sundowns close in on Zambian teenage striker
Mamelodi Sundowns are reportedly in the final stages of signing young Zambian striker Lameck Banda.

According to reports coming out of Zambia, Nkwazi FC and the Brazilians having agreed to a transfer fee.
The young forward was on trial with Sundowns earlier in the year with Pitso Mosimane’s technical team assessing him.

Sundowns admitted to having him at the club for a few weeks.

The Brazilians were campaigning in the Caf Champions League at the time and the club’s communication officer Thulani Thuswa stated that Sundowns did not have enough time to assess the player due to their busy schedule.
However, it has now emerged that Banda did impress Mosimane and his technical team and will sign for Sundowns.
