All Stars looking to continue dominance over Stellenbosch

Stars have not lost to Stellenbosch, who were previously known as Vasco Da Gama, and according to Igugu leKapa midfielder, Phetso Maphanga, they don’t want to upset the status quo.

“Everyone in the team is working extremely hard and we told ourselves we need to take responsibility we were in. Our first objective was to move away from the relegation zone,” said the player nicknamed Cabaye.

“The first round was tough. We made a few mistakes at the back. But in the last three matches we have been mentally switched on and kept clean sheets.”

Cabaye said they want full points on Friday afternoon.

“Our history against Vasco, or should I say Stellenbosch is good because we have never lost against them. But they have been doing really well and so I expect a tough battle on Friday. It’s a derby match and anything can happen, but at the end of the day it is who wants it most who will win it.”
