One of the club’s owners George Mafu said the club still needs to release an official statement about the player joining the club.
Shaku joined the NFD side after he was released by Baroka FC for allegedly drinking alcohol on the team bus after a game.
Mafu couldn’t answer whether or not the player is allegeable to play for them seeing that he joined after the January transfer window had closed.
According to Fifa rules a player is not allowed to represent two teams in one season unless if the switch form the first club to the second is made during the official Fifa transfer window.
“We don’t want to talk about Shaku right now, the club is still preparing a statement that will be issued a later stage, right now we don’t want to talk about him,” Mafu told Phakaaathi.
