Soweto derby tickets go on sale, Chiefs announce

The game may be just a little less than a month away, but Kaizer Chiefs have put the tickets on sale for their bumper DStv Premiership clash against fellow Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates.

The highly anticipated Soweto Derby is just around the corner, and tickets are now up for grabs.

This premier sporting event, a staple in the DStv Premiership, is a fixture that all fans eagerly await. 

The Soweto derby, which is a clash between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates is set to take place on Saturday, 11 November at FNB Stadium.

It marks the 178th official meeting between these two football giants.

Before this game, both sides have at least three fixtures they have to play including in the newly launched Carling Knockout. 

Chiefs will host AmaZulu on a date yet to be announced by the PSL in the first round of the big money cup competition. 

Pirates will also be home against the Premiership new boys Cape Town Spurs. Both sides also have league games before the Soweto derby.

But for those looking to be a part of this electrifying showdown, tickets are available for purchase, Chiefs announced on Friday afternoon. 

Chiefs reveal Soweto derby ticket prices

Stand tickets come in at varying price points, ranging from R100 for level 5 seats to R170 for level 2. You can secure your tickets through TicketPro and various other outlets, including Spar and Boxer Supermarkets, Sasol and Shell filling stations, and PostNet outlets.

If you’re interested in the exclusive Kaizer Chiefs Family Zone, brought to you by John Deere, packages are available in the range of R350 to R550.

Special arrangements have also been made for individuals with disabilities and parents with children under the age of 12, who can obtain their tickets by reaching out via info@ticketpros.co.za.
