Soweto derby is about individual brilliance – Ramudzuli
Former Orlando Pirates striker Rudzani Ramudzuli says individual brilliance is what wins the derby for a team.

Speaking to Phakaathi ahead of Saturday’s Soweto Derby, Ramudzuli says playing against Kaizer Chiefs is not the same as playing against any other team, adding that the game requires character and needs you to do extra training to rise to the challenge.
“The derby is a different game to all the others and is full of surprises, you can find out that the team that’s playing well at the moment will lose. In our times there are players that were not regulars but were given a starting berth in the Soweto Derby. I remember a game where I started but I had missed other games,” Ramudzuli told Phakaaathi.
“I was in the gym even when others were done, so that I can be better than the others. We had a big squad and one had to prepare himself because the coach could pick anyone. There are players that have character and they will play. You need to have the heart that the coach needs for the derby. We have quality but the heart counts, and it is about individuals going the extra mile.”
