South American duo on trial at Sundowns
Mamelodi Sundowns have two players from South America training with the first team.

Uruguayan left-back Richard Rodriguez and Columbian striker Duban Renteria have been training with the team for a few days with hopes of joining the former African champions.

Two independent sources confirmed to Phakaaathi about the players’ presence at Chloorkop.

“Yes there are players that are on trial at Sundowns at the moment, the club could have more players on trial,” one source told Phakaaathi.
“During the open media day everyone was focused on Percy Tau and missed the two gents that were on the other side of the training ground with the rest of the team,” added another source.
