Sono unfazed by tax woes
Jomo Cosmos owner and coach Jomo Sono says he will let the courts handle the matter of his debt to the South African Revenue Service.

Sunday newspapers reported that Sono owed the tax man R40 million and could reportedly see his club attached by the court to try and recover the money.
“I can’t talk about it and on behalf of the club, we can’t talk about it, but I can tell you that I am happy,” Sono told Goal.
“No comment because the matter is sub judice. It is in front of the courts. I think people have read the story. In life you can’t comment on every little thing in the newspapers. Don’t worry about what is in the Sunday newspapers,” Sono concluded.
The South African football legend has in the past struggled to pay players.
