The former Kaizer Chiefs attacker joined SuperSport United on loan from Denmark’s Randers FC last week, and reunites with former mentor Stuart Baxter and six players from his days at Ama-
khosi.
The 27-year-old playmaker said he is happy the league race is no longer a one-horse race, with six teams looking good for honours this season.
“Any of the teams in the top six can still win the league and that is very interesting. It’s not like one team is winning the league all the time, which becomes boring because it means other teams aren’t challenging.
“The PSL is competitive, and teams have improved and that’s why you have teams from the top six fighting for the league championship,” said Masango.
Masango could make his debut tomorrow evening when Matsatsantsa a Pitori host Golden Arrows at Lucas Moripe Stadium as they resume their campaign.
The Pretoria-based team are among the favourites to win the Absa Premiership title and are currently fourth on the log, trailing leaders Bidvest Wits by three points.
