Singh hat-trick sink Cameroon
Luther Singh scored a hat-trick as SA Under-20 men’s team, Amajita, handed Cameroon a 3-1 drubbing in their opening Caf Under-20 Afcon at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Monday night.

Cameroon started the better of the sides and they took the lead in the 15th minute through Eric Ayuk’s header.
However, their lead was short-lived as Singh equalised for Amajita with a brilliantly taken free kick just outside the box.
Singh grabbed his brace in the 27th through a penalty kick after Sibongakonke Mbatha was brought down inside the penalty area.
Amajita led 2-1 at the half-time break.
Singh completed his hat-trick in the 58th minute after eliminating the goalkeeper and a defender before slamming the ball into an empty net.
Cameroon push more men forward in search of goals, but Amajita hanged on to their lead.
Thabo Senong’s team is now top of Group B after Senegal and Sudan played to a 1-1 draw in the game played earlier in the day.
