Reports suggest Silva want out after spending half a season with the Brazilians, with reports linking him with a move to Egypt.
Sundowns media officer Thulani Thuswa confirmed that the forward was on his way out of the club. However, Thuswa could not confirmed reports linking Silva with a move to the Egyptian Premier League.
“Yeah, the coach confirmed this yesterday,” Thuswa told Goal. “The coach said the player wants to go,” he added. When asked about a move to Egypt, Thuswa said: “I don’t know. If I said, I would be lying to you,” he concluded.
Silva missed Sundowns’ midweek game against Maritzburg United on Wednesday night.
