Shonga reveals that he is a police officer

Zambian international and Orlando Pirates striker Justin Shonga says he remains a police officer back in his native country despite being a professional soccer player but says it is not easy.

Shonga joined the Buccaneers in September from Nkwazi FC and has made quite a good impression at the club which scoring three goals and having four assists to his name in his 17 appearances for the Soweto giants.

“I am still a police officer back home in Zambia. It is not an easy thing to play football and be a police officer, it takes a lot of determination and you have to work hard and focus. You have to focus on the goals that you want to achieve in your life,” said Shonga, whose goal against Chippa United on February 27 was voted as the best goal of the month.
