Shabba declared fit for Dikwena clash

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe 'Shabba' Tshabalala has been declared fit to play against Platinum Stars after missing the club’s previous fixture against Polokwane City which they lost 1-0 last weekend.


Shabba is said to have recovered from a muscle strain injury he sustained two weeks ago, but the club’s physiotherapist David Milner says Shabba will be back, while Sibusiso Khumalo and Brilliant Khuzwayo are still recovering.

“Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala is now cleared to play after going through several full training sessions since recovering from a muscle strain injury sustained two weeks ago.”

“Shabba is ready to travel to Rustenburg,” Milner was quoted on the club’s website.

“Sibusiso Khumalo (knee) and Brilliant Khuzwayo (ankle) are still recovering,” Milner added.

The clash between Amakhosi and Dikwena is set to take take place at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Wednesday.
