Serero labelled as “selfish”
A former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana player has labelled Thulani Serero as selfish and unpatriotic.
This comes after Serero said he will only join the national team camp if he is not guaranteed game time in Bafana’s back-to-back 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifiers against Senegal.

“No one is guaranteed a place in the line-up, it doesn’t matter where you play your football. Serero is just being selfish and he doesn’t care about the nation,” said the former Bafana player, who didn’t want his name to be mentioned.
“The team is playing important matches and he decides to act up. Players like him are way out of order and should never be called up again.”
Bafana will play the Teranga Lions on Friday at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, before traveling to Senegal for the second leg to be played on Tuesday.
