South Africa recorded a 2-0 victory over Mauritius, courtesy of a Lyle Foster brace who came in as a second-half substitute at the Nkana Stadium on Thursday.
Amajita next face Mozambique in their second group game on Saturday.

“Our focus is now on our next match, we are happy for the win, however; there is no time to dwell on it. We start our preparations for Mozambique tonight [Thursday], which will be another tough task ahead of us,” said Senong.
Amajita lead the group with three points, level with Egypt while Mozambique and Mauritius are yet to register any point.
