“The team is working very hard, daily, and we are ready for anything that comes,” Sekgota says.

Kgaogelo Sekgota has become an almost forgotten man at Kaizer Chiefs with limited game time since the turn of the year.

The young attacker started the season well. And became one of the players coach Arthur Zwane was building his new team upon.
An injury sent him to the sidelines. And on his return he has found it difficult to break back into the squad.
“I have been working hard and getting motivation from the technical team,” said Sekgota.
“Obviously, everything has its moments. So, all in good time, so it’s good. The team has been doing well,” added Sekgota.
Chiefs had gone on a seven games unbeaten run before last weekend’s loss to Sekhukhune United in a DStv Premiership match.
Sekgota confessed that losing that game was a bit hard to take. Especially after the good run the team had been on.
“We won a few games in a row, and obviously it’s sad when, as Kaizer Chiefs, we lose a game.
Sekgota: We are ready for Chippa
“But we still have a lot to play for. We’ve got the Nedbank Cup semifinal. We’ve got some games left to finish the season very well, as far up as possible.
“The team is working very hard, daily, and we are ready for anything that comes,” Sekgota said.
He will be hoping to make an appearance on Freedom Day, 27 April, when Chiefs meet Chippa United in a league game away.
“Chippa have a good team, with good players. But we are also good and we are ready for them and looking forward to the game.

“I think they have a good squad and, thinking of their position in the relegation zone. It means it’s not going to be easy for us.
“But as I said, we’ll be ready for them.” The game at Nelson Mandela Stadium is set for a 3pm kickoff.
