Xasa will visit the home of Nyobo, who was shot and killed last week Saturday as he was driving from North End Stadium.
The ABC Motsepe League club had just beaten Birmingham FC 4-1 at the stadium in a league clash.
Few details are known surrounding the incident, but Nyobo – the apparent target of the attack – was pronounced dead at the scene while passengers in the car were taken to a nearby hospital.
“We were shocked and saddened by the passing of Mr Nyobo, a man who was loved by the community. Nyobo was a mentor to many young people who played for Tornado FC, and saved many of our youth from drugs and alcohol abuse which are prominent in our society,” Xasa said.
Xasa will pay her respect to the family of Nyobo, then proceed to join the Rugby tournament and hand over rugby kit.
“We must continue to invest in our youth, we must nurture their talent, amongst them future Stars will be discovered. As the sport community we remain indebted to people like Mr Nyobo, who invest their time energy and money to develop our youth.”
