According to a tweet from Ntimane, the tunnel scuffle was a result of someone calling him by the K-word when he tried to separate City’s assistant coach Rayaan Jacobs and United player Rushine De Reuck, who had been sent off.
“What is this black guy doing in the tunnel? Hey you, your p… what you doing here? You bloody kaffir,” Ntimane claims that this is what was said to him by the unnamed person.
“These are words said to me trying to separate Coach Rayaan and De Reuck. Then all hell broke loss. So don’t come here and talk sh$#! about things you don’t know,” added Ntimane.
Ntimane has also came to the defence of coach Benni McCarthy who was labelled as a hooligan by social media users when they saw him tussle with a Maritzburg United official in the tunnel.
