Rayon fans come to the club’s rescue in Maputo
The Diaspora Fan Club of Rayon Sport FC did their bit to ensure that their team was ready to take on Clube de Desportos da Costa do Sol of Mozambique.

The club was left frustrated when their opponents for their Caf Confederation Cup didn’t prepare a training ground for the traveling team in Maputo. However, the fans made sure that the team found a place to train.

The challenge of visiting teams not to have training grounds is common in club competitions with Mamelodi Sundowns having experienced these tactics from the home team in their quest to win the Caf Champions league title.
The Diaspora Fan Club organised a training ground for the team from Rwanda in Maputo ahead of the game with Costa do Sol.

Rayon lost 0-2 but advanced to the group stages of the Caf Confederations Cup with a 3-2 aggregate score.
The fans parked their cars around the training field and turn the headlights on for the team to train at night.
