Qalinge on road to full recovery

Orlando Pirates winger Thabo Qalinge is currently working on strength and conditioning, as he tries to get back to full fitness.


According to a statement posted on Pirates website, the 26-year old is waiting for a report from a specialist to start training with the team and try to win his position back.

“The skilful 26-year old is still working with the Strength and Conditioning team while he awaits a report from specialist to give him the green light to start full training with the rest of the team,” read the statement.

Pirates also revealed that defender Justice Chabalala who is nursing an ankle injury is still undergoing physiotherapy.

Qalinge and Chabalala are the only players missing in Micho Sredojevic’s squad as they prepare for a meeting with Platinum Stars at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Saturday.
