PSL postpone City v Celtic match after player’s death

The Premier Soccer League has decided to postpone the Absa Premiership match between Bloemfontein Celtic and Polokwane City.

This comes after City asked the League to postpone the match following the passing of Rise and Shine defender Mogau Tshehla in a car accident.

“The League wishes to convey heartfelt condolences to the family of Mogau Tshehla and the Polokwane City family during this difficult moment,” read a PSL statement.

The match was originally scheduled for Sunday, February 18, but will now be played at a later date that will be announced by the PSL.

City are currently in 13th position on the log table, while Celtic are in 10th place.
