The club confirmed the player’s passing on their official Twitter account.
It is reported that Tshehla was travelling back to Polokwane from Witbank after visiting his family.
City spokesperson Vusi Mtimane confirmed the passing of the player.
“Yes, it’s true, we will have a press briefing at 10am. We will only talk about it then,” said Mtimane.
Tshehla was part of the Rise and Shine squad that lost 3-2 to Ubuntu Cape Town in the Nedbank Cup last week.
