Pitso vows to fight until the end

The Brazilians have won eight league titles in the Premier Soccer League era and are followed by Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates with four titles each.

Mosimane has contributed three titles in his tenure with the Brazilians and has set his targets on winning two more, at least for now, as he wants to guide his ambitious club to 10 titles.

However, Mosimane is under the believe that there are forces that are keen to slow down his progress towards his targets, but maintains he will do it “against all odds”.

“You have to get rid of me because I am always a problem and a thorn in the flesh, other teams must win. We are about to go to 10 titles and they see that the gap is getting bigger. They have to stop me whichever way,” said Mosimane.

“But I am still here, it is still going to go [on] for as long as I am in football, we are going to fight for the league, I am going to be there until I retire,” he added, as he was venting his frustrations at how the PSL is quick to throw the book at him when he is caught on the wrong side of the law, but seemingly drag their feet when other parties are involved.

“A good friend, Mandla Ncikazi [pointed a finger] to Ernest Middendorp. Remember that case? How long did it take?

“It took a year. If I do that… huh! Life sentence,” said an agitated Mosimane. “There were people who were burning the stadiums, how long did that take? I receive letters within five days.”
