Pitso tells Lorch to be consistent
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has congratulated Orlando Pirates' Thembinkosi Lorch for winning the coveted Footballer of the Season gong but challenged the Bucs forward to be consistent going forward.

Mosimane expects the Buccaneers’ attacking wizard to be in the top three next season after he triumphed Masandawana duo Hlompho Kekana and Themba Zwane for the big award.
While Zwane walked away empty-handed, Kekana did scoop the Midfielder of the season award.
“Let’s be honest, Lorch deserves it. He did well. I am happy that Kekana won something because he has been consistent for six years and that is what I want to see from Lorch,” said Mosimane.

“Can he be nominated for the award for six years? I am a little bit sad for Themba because he did very well. If it was according to me, because I like all the players, I would give it to Lorch. I would give one to Kekana and one to Themba. But it is not about emotions or a social welfare, you are supposed to give it to where it is supposed to be. People have voted and there’s nothing wrong, we must respect it,” he added.
“The boy (Lorch) did well but the challenge is, can he do it again? Yes, Kekana can do it again. In football, excellency is to win repeatedly. Everybody has won something once but to do it again is not easy.”
