Pitso dodges question about Sundowns interest in Billiat
Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane says he cannot speak about his club’s interest in Khama Billiat because it would be disrespectful to Kaizer Chiefs and will put him in trouble with the Premier Soccer League (PSL).

“If I say I wanted Khama Billiat to come at Sundowns, Chiefs are going to write a letter to the League and the League is going to fine me,” said Mosimane in an interview with PowerFM.
“The League has issued a warning so I can’t answer that (if he wants Billiat to return to Sundowns). I have to respect Kaizer Chiefs and respect the League.
“You can ask me is there a team that wants Themba Zwane or if Chiefs want Sirino, I don’t know what coach Middendorp wants.
“Unfortunately in South Africa we can’t talk like in Europe. Would any coach like to have Themba Zwane or Sirino, probably yes? Probably I would like to have Khama.
“If I say I would like to have Khama, I would have to reference as to why I would like to have him. The boy won many Man of the Match awards while he was with us, Player of the Year, Player’s Player awards, he had so many he didn’t know how to hold them.”
Meanwhile, Mosimane confirmed that his side would like to sign more players after announcing the signing of Bafana Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie.
“We are looking at beefing up, but it will be players that we are guaranteed will make a difference.”
