The postponement affords the Brazilians more time to travel and prepare for their Caf Champions League group stage opener in Nigeria against Lobi Stars.
The Nigerian outfit will host the 2016 African champions on Friday.
“I am happy in that space because it has been our lives for the past five years, there is no excuse, and I must give the PSL some credit because they have been communicating with us even at night to try and help us to carry the flag of the country and move games because we have about 32 games and there are no breaks in between,” said Mosimane.

The Downs coach tipped Kaizer Chiefs to reach the group stages of the Confederation Cup, but warned them that their trip to Ndola, Zambia, where they face Zesco United, will not be easy. Chiefs play Zesco on Sunday.
“With the way Chiefs are playing they are okay for their home game but Ndola is tough. That team is very tricky, they played TP Mazembe and they were skating on thin ice. Chiefs have got the team for that. I am happy my brothers are there in the group stages, we are flying the flag and it is good for Bafana Bafana,” Mosimane said, as the Glamour Boys need to beat Zesco over two legs to advance to the Confederation Cup group stages, while Orlando Pirates are also in the Champions League group stages.
Although Masandawana managed a 2-1 win in Amakhosi’s own backyard, Mosimane says defending their league title will be a daunting challenge, insisting that Bidvest Wits stand a far better chance than them and the Soweto giants.
“People who can talk about the league are Bidvest Wits because we are travelling. It is going to be difficult for Chiefs, it is also going to be difficult for Pirates. This is the time where we need everybody. I think Chiefs and Pirates are going to go through the same thing and that is why I tip Gavin Hunt to run away with the title,” said Mosimane.
