The 22-year old striker, who joined Pirates in June from Bloemfontein Celtic, was the hero when Pirates beat Chippa United 2-1 at the Orlando Stadium last Saturday, scoring both goals for Bucs.
“I am glad that I managed to get my first goal for the club which was followed by second as well. But it was all about team effort and the coach spoke to us about how much of lions we can be, show aggression and I believe we showed it today (Saturday). We were hungry and wanted it more than our opponents and we managed to pull out on top and get the result that we wanted and that’s what we needed,” said the striker.
The win saw Bucs record their second win in the league after five games. They are now on position seven on the log with eight points, but are only two points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs.
